Welcome to aaronleephotofilm.com (the "Site"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Site. By using the Site, submitting an inquiry, or otherwise interacting with us through the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
1. Who We Are
ALPF is a wedding photography and videography studio based in State College, Pennsylvania. These Terms apply to your use of our Site. They do not constitute a contract for photography or videography services. If you book with us, a separate signed Wedding Services Agreement will govern the actual services, pricing, retainers, cancellation policy, and delivery terms for your event. If anything in these Terms conflicts with a signed Wedding Services Agreement, the signed agreement controls.
2. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not:
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, our systems, or our client galleries
Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) to extract content from the Site
Interfere with the Site's normal operation or security
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity when submitting an inquiry
We may suspend or restrict access to the Site, at our discretion, for anyone who violates these Terms.
3. Intellectual Property
All photographs, films, graphics, text, logos, and other content displayed on the Site (the "Content") are the property of ALPF or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Content includes images from real client weddings displayed with permission for portfolio purposes.
You may not copy, download, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any Content on the Site without our prior written consent. This includes images of real couples featured in our galleries; those images remain our copyrighted work regardless of how they are used elsewhere (see your Wedding Services Agreement for the usage rights granted to booked clients).
4. Inquiries, Consultations & Availability
Submitting an inquiry through the Site does not guarantee availability for your date, reserve your date, or create a contract between you and ALPF. A date is only secured once a signed Wedding Services Agreement and required retainer have been received. Package pricing, availability, and offerings displayed on the Site are subject to change without notice.
5. Third-Party Links & Vendors
The Site may contain links to third-party platforms (including but not limited to The Knot, Zola, WeddingWire, HoneyBook, or client gallery providers) for scheduling, reviews, payments, or gallery delivery. We don't control these third-party sites and aren't responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Your use of any third-party site is subject to that site's own terms and policies.
6. User Submissions
If you submit information through a contact form, inquiry form, review, or similar feature, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. We may use submitted contact information to respond to your inquiry and, where applicable, for marketing communications, in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Please don't submit anything unlawful, abusive, or infringing on someone else's rights.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its Content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. We make reasonable efforts to keep pricing, availability, and package details current, but we don't guarantee the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fully up to date at all times.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ALPF and its owners, employees, and associates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site, including but not limited to reliance on information contained on the Site. Our total liability arising from your use of the Site will not exceed the amount, if any, you paid to us for Site-related services (excluding any Wedding Services Agreement, which is governed separately by its own terms).
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ALPF and its owners, employees, and associates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will first be submitted to mediation, and if unresolved, to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, with venue in Centre County, Pennsylvania. Any claim must be brought within [match the shortened claim period in your existing contract, e.g. one year] of the date the claim arose.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
